Golf Gti and a Fiesta ST would be a great choice

Time has moved on and the window has passed methinks.
Without a thought for any ramifications, I recon it’s close between Fiesta ST and Golf GTI
Integra Type R has popped up again too. Might struggle for £10k though

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Maybe this could have been a contender

Keep on forgetting that the less well know hot hatches will lose a fair bit of depreciation, but at 30k miles and 10k seems a good buy.
Added bonus that it won't shout hot hatch at other road users and unlikely anyone will want to race you at the lights.

Can’t be French, can’t be a BMW. Steady on Nigel.

It might not even be a hot hatch now.
