There are a couple of Lotus Service around so why CMC can’t be appointed for the Scottish customers I don’t know.
I had my car booked in at Carlisle but it looks like it’ll be the long trip to Oakmere.

Graeme has advised to expect an announcement imminently re Scottish dealership. Let hope it’s up and running soon as there is a degree of customer dissatisfaction that a new dealer will need to overcome.

Threads like this make me glad that I do not have a Lotus now, which is a terrible thing to say and never thought I would ever write that !!
There was such a good service ethic in the past but this completely diminishes customer trust. I would have expected with a wide recall that Lotus would at least offer transportation services for their customers to take it to the nearest dealearship - not exactly hard to do and does not cost a massive amount (plus the trust that it instill that the manufacturer is looking after you).
Also think that the lack of Lotus sales and their product approach has something to do with it. Sure Grange would have easily taken on Lotus if they were selling 50+ cars a year in Scotland but at 9 its just overhead for them with all the space they would have to tie up.
Not exactly great especially as there is the expectation of new models coming soon and the buzz that will be generated with that. Always been very difficult to get people into a Lotus seat and this certainly does not help.
Just hope that it is resolved soon (and its not Arnold Clark!!!)

My guess maybe Douglas Park for dealership. Currently have McLaren/ Maserati /Lambo/ Bentley/ BMW + a handful of more lowly marques, and they are based in Hamilton so just down the road from me
Do I win a prize?
