I could see myself tagging along to some of these track day sessions, bring the camera gear, maybe grab a few pax laps.
Only if the route down was a little interesting. I don't really fancy doing motorway miles in convoy. I remember the Donington Lotus festival that we went to several years ago. The drive down the day before was an adventure in itself. And the evening festivities were excellent. Understandably the drive home I would expect to be the most direct.
The mystery tour on the way down style probably wouldn't suit many because of the reasons above. Everyone has limited time.

So what is everyone planning post lockdown? When do you think the track days etc will start up again?
I would be happy with being able to drive it on the road for the fun of it.

I shall have to see if I still have a business first
And straight after that I think next is fit some new batteries or we ain’t driving anywhere
Trackdays have the potential to restart quite quickly (after all - they were last to shut down!). But as for budget, well, see para 1 above!
All joking apart. First thing after Lockdown? A bloody holiday somewhere ELSE ...

Finally SORN’d mine today, 2 miles this month to put cheap petrol in it.
After this all, go driving for fun, do some meet up and runs with various groups, go SE camping IF it’s not winter.

Didn’t SORN the Elise in the vain hope I could use it as a periodic escape pod during this mess.
How wrong was I
Ah well. It’s lovely and clean and the av mileage is eroding nicely

Have you lot never heard of shopping.... You do get a few looks rocking up outside Marks and Spencer's with the roof down though.
It's better than nothing...

I shop with Elise quite often, Victor. When the battery allows
But with 2 supermarkets just 5 mins walk from the house, I would struggle to convince an inquisitive law Officer that a journey of any substance was “essential” ...
Ironically my new insurance policy includes business cover on the Elise. But I definitely have no work to travel to.
