Part of my route south to see the family is about to be similarly blighted with Average Speed Cams . A69 Carlisle to Hexham has had a smattering of cameras in place since late last year but they currently have signs saying they’re not in use, sure that will change soon

No doubt rear facing to catch the bikers. A blight to the country side which will result in longer queues and more frustration. I feel a minimum speed limit should apply in these locations or perhaps a maximum number of people in the queue before you have to let people past.
What next solid white lines along the whole route?!

‘‘Tis a shame. Just for a change, that section is very open and flowing and good passage is to be made of the caravans and sightseers.
Never mind. Kilmahog to Killin still lovely. And won’t attract cams cos the muggles can’t drive that bit quick. Got bends in it see
