Covid-19 Lockdown
Whats everyone doing if your stuck at home?
I have been doing PE with Joe Wicks in the morning with the kids, numeracy and literacy skills on Microsoft Teams with the kids teachers and after lunch its skateboarding in the car park before we do some arts and crafts.
Anyone got any other ideas?

Joe Wicks here too.
No working at home can be done for me, so it will just be trying to make Kathy’s time at home less stressful than what it is for her at the moment at her pharmacy.
General housekeeping and diy jobs will be done throughout the next few weeks until we see what happens.
I don’t expect to be back at work anytime soon, so will use some of the time for a little exercising too.
Steve.

Reports from Fife Jammers Facebook page that police are setting up road blocks asking where you are going.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Have got the kids doing chores for half an hour - strangely they quite enjoy it?!?! Just simple things like wiping door handles down, emptying dishwasher etc.BiggestNizzy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 1:19 pmWhats everyone doing if your stuck at home?

Rest of the day is filled with much the same as you mentioned, Homework for Cameron (8), writing and Drawing for Lucy (4), creative tine, a decent walk or cycle, some electronic learning then some free time for them. I'm working out a schedule each day for them as I need to hide upstairs as much as possible and work. They are enjoying it so far - long way to go though!!!
Re: Covid-19 Lockdown
Getting a bunch of jobs finished off in the house, finish the upstair loo, bunch of painting to do. Had planned finishing the upstairs en-suite but Jewsons closed before delivering my order. They might be open later in the week, they are exempt, but I doubt it.
Probably get round to fitting the big brake kit to the Elise.
Plenty to do to stop me getting bored, motivation is an issue but what's new.

Took advantage of the sunshine so 2 days of full on gardening. Lawns cut , moss removed , edges cut. Jet washing of hard surfaces to follow.

Is going to your lock-up 2 miles away and self isolating, or working on your car outside in a small private car part punishable by hanging yet..?

Been home schooling the kids since for 3 weeks now, 0900 start, dressed for school and keep the rituals going.
0900-1000 academic time (math, English)
1000-1100 creative time
1100-1130 chores
1130-1200 outside
1200-1300 lunch then outside
1300-1400 academic time (math, English)
1400-1500 reading
(alarms set on an old phone)
Works well for 9 and 10 year olds, manage themself. Using twinkl for learning resources, lay out work for the day , learning Italian too via duelingo and using things like glasgow science centre broadcasts for a change. Got an ICT suite setup in dinning room as a classroom.
When we took our 4 year old out of nursery it was not as easy
Everyone finds a way in these times i guess.
Didnt think of skateboarding

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown
As I work from home on an ad-hoc basis (1 day a week typically), just means 5 days a week working from home now, not sure that’s good or bad.
I have managed to fit in a bit of car cleaning after my work day, de-tar, de-iron done and now claying it with intention of machine polishing at some point soon.
Only ever managed the complete cleaning / polishing cycle once in 4 years of 968 ownership.
Got my money’s worth last time with iron removal 2 years ago
Wasn’t nearly as bad this time.
Good intentions, but in last week still not been on the indoor trainer road bike sitting upstairs. Some day soon...
