Speedfair 2008

Post by DJ » Fri Apr 24, 2020 12:34 pm

Came across these the other day and thought I would share. I remember weather wise it was a cracking day. Think that is Brian’s old black S2 with the gold wheels behind me on the track pic and DDtB’s bum in the holding pen pic. This was the full Lotus parade at the end of the day and stretched from the start line right down past the hairpin, two abreast.

Who else is still on here that remembers that day?

Blimey 12 years. Didn't Lotus debut a Jim Clark type 25 style tribute Elise there ?

I was there in the Type 72 Elise. Must've been on of my first SE events.

Yup, that’s my black S2 before it met it’s demise.
I don’t remember much about the day, it was 12 years ago, but it was the debut of the Jim Clark type 25 Elise.

Graeme also had a orange 211 there. It was love at first sight
