Any interesting stories to pass on here to beat the Monday morning blues for those of us still working?

Steve.
Just realised that was 8th June - not sure how I missed your post Steve. Although ... I may have read it then logged off in disgust because at that time I’d have given anything to be working at even half capacity Image

It’s been a long 5 months but the pipeline of work is picking up very, very gradually. I even issued a couple of invoices in July! And will have a few to do in September. But April, May, June and August were a drought.

Anyway as for tips and hindsight:

- stay fit
- dress for work
- invest in your kids / family
- fix DIY stuff you’ve put off
- keep in touch with friends
- call someone different every day
- ask earnestly how people are doing
- cook more from scratch
- drive your car(s) don’t just fit a trickle charger
- write a journal for each day even if just 2-3 lines
- keep a pic from each day
- breathe the unpolluted air
- listen to the birds
- think outside the box

Oh and wear sunscreen

Best tip I have is to stop making meetings 30 or 60 mins. Reduce them to 25 or 55 minutes - focuses everyone’s mind as there’s a clearer ‘end-point’ rather than the generic.
