Bit of a thread resurrection.

Also, a drift in requirements (for me)

Sold the Cerbera yesterday, but now have the classic Alfa, so looking for something like an S1 Elise to occupy garage space with the old thing for not too much, alas they seem to be creeping up :x

No rush whatsoever, later this year or even into next year, see if I can eventually get into a Lotus, and stop me from buying another Caterham :damnfunny
Ok so another bump.

Anyone thinking of selling their S1 this year? Or know of a good one....

The titanium 111S at Will Blackham appeals :thumbsup

Absolutely no rush, but the longer I leave it the increased likelihood of scope creep and me looking at Exige V6s again 😜

:cheers

Lotus dealers struggling for stock at the moment for sure. Suspect it will change when the new models arrive, lots of trade in's for Emeria upgrades that will bring prices down again surely.

Was chatting to the owner of a used car dealership in Dundee at the weekend. Tells me he normally has 40 cars in stock but only has 16 now. He needs to sell 15 a month to break even. Its forcing him to travel far and wide to locate used stock. At the time I met him we was off to collect a Boxster for 80k.

yup used car market riding a 20 year high - sh*t time to buy used.

Watch the Lotus pricing, but cant envisage spending the money asked, but nor is there anything of much interest. Feel like Ive personally done it all to death a bit although fighting the urge to order an Emira as my daily.

The V6 prices are SO strong - great if you own one, but only if you intend to realise the asset.

Don't want to thread drift but stock is an issue for dealers, even know of a dealer who went to Spain to pick up an Evoque.

Due to Brexit the expats are finding it is costing a fortune to register their uk cars.
