Sabine Nurburgring not good news

Post by Bob vanM » Tue Jul 21, 2020 5:05 pm

this is what Sabine posted on FB,
many of you know her from previous Ring visits (with Tut)

Dear friends of well maintained motorsport 😁
Many of you have probably wondered why I was on the list of participants on our Porsche in the NSL and then didn't drive after all.
I would like to provide enlightenment here, I think I owe it to my / our fans!
Since the end of 2017, I have been fighting an extremely persistent cancer that has not been able to finish with the resources so far. It got a little better - but now he's come back with full force. Now I have to draw all the strength and registers to master the next therapies powerfully... hoping something will happen. So I say goodbye ′′ probably ′′ 😜 first for this season.
In addition, I would like to thank everyone for their help and support in my everyday life and encouragement in written form!
So sweethearts, now you have an update. Please stay healthy and cheerful, see you at the ring 👋😘

Never goods news :(

I'm sure she'll have massive support from the 'Ring community which might contribute to how she feels.

The pic of her with tut is one that will always stay with me :D

I met her and her husband at the F1 Ball in London around 4 years ago. They were both hugely approachable, total petrolheads and had a great "racing rivalry" between them. Best of luck...

Support naming a corner at the 'Ring:

All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.
