Wouldn’t Change A Thing. What do you see?

My son Aaron’s Grandfather Tom, Miniblonde’s Dad, wrote the lyrics to the Christmas campaign for the Down’s syndrome awareness charity Wouldn’t Change a Thing. It was inspired by a photo of Aaron and our friends’ Daughter Rosie who happens to have an extra chromosome. It quickly gathered momentum and Tom and his band mate Colin (lead vocals) put some music to it and released a track together along with the charity. Produced by Graeme Duffin of Wet Wet Wet with backing vocals from JJ Gilmour of the Silencers.

The proceeds from the single are all going to the charity who are helping to change the negative perceptions of Down’s Syndrome. This particular campaign is targeting an insensitive storyline being run by Emmerdale. More about that from Rosie’s Dad here: https://fb.watch/25aKNjcnoy/

Good to hear it’s doing well , video is great - I hope that gets a lot of publicity too as it gives the song context.
