Graeme,

Any chance you could give us the story on how the Jay Emm ‘review’ of your car came about and how the day went please?

Was it just the two of you and were you driving the Porsche?

There were a few other cars there on the day.

JayEmm was up for a few days, hosted by a Porsche Club committee member. The RS following in the video was driven by its owner, who was taking another chap out for a ride in it. I was sitting the in Ski Centre cafe having a cuppa and a blether with some other Porsche folks.

When I arrived, JayEmm was waiting for me, as he'd finished doing the previous reviews already. He took the key, did some static shots, then stuck his cameras on and drove off to do his driving bit. Some owners sit in the passenger seat during video bits, but I just sat in the cafe and left him to it.

When he got back, he removed the cameras and then we went out together to film the drive-bys. I dropped him off in a layby, then just drove back and forth a dozen or so times, a mixture of slow and not-so-slow passes (nothing super crazy, it's getting filmed after all, so he can't use anything that looks obviously illegal).

It took maybe an hour total. He did a few other cars the same day, which haven't been released yet so I won't spoil any surprises.

He's a really nice bloke, and it was good to meet some lovely Porsche owners (yes, they do exist :D). It was a fun day out.

We talked about getting a 2-11, 3-11 and 340R together next year. I really hope that happens, as that would be a great photo-op.

1-11 340R, 2-11 and 3-11 compendium would be quite something.

What a cool wee experience your shoot seemed to be, G. Glad you enjoyed

Loved JayEmm's video last night, especially the sound coming from the 2-11. Certainly a thumbs up from him on the car.

Looking forward to the review on the white 911 in the background, presume it was a SuperSport? If so then a pretty rare care with around 200 produced for the UK

Lots of stuff
Not watched the video yet but plan to :thumbsup

Graeme - similar experience to me last year with him, the main difference being I was sat next to James all the time he was driving the Cerb :D

For the drive-by shots, I felt compelled to 'press on' just cos I'm immature that way
