Just viewed it, thought it would be released soon since he posted about releasing a set of ‘lightweight’ Porsche reviews before Christmas.

I was with Jayemm when he filmed it and did the drive by shots.
Nice guy, did lunch out with James and Dom after the filming was done.

Looking at mileage I’ve only done 1040 miles in it since filming in August :(
Although 750 of those miles were done on our Gairloch camping weekend :drive :)

PS if anyones contacts are really interested in the 968CS I’m open to offers for selling it

Some people don’t even drive their cars a 1000 miles per year.

Spyder has been a static garage ornament for a while now

2020 14,684 miles
2019 14,638 miles

Currently sitting on 2020 miles from Porsche Edinburgh to the house, so probably another 20 on the above

Probably also going to sell in the new year as just not using it.

May be tempted with another classic car in the garage but with one happy to put the miles on and we can put the dogs in the back.

Ian - 968CS was a possible contender so if the Spyder does go we may need to chat (obviously hope you sell before spring comes of course)

Nice to see cars getting driven. That’s why we’re here. Life to short. Managed 2000 miles in last 6 months and 23-27 dec I’ll be doing more. It’s essential .

Finally got around to watching the review of Ross' Cerbera last night, looked & sounded amazing although James was suggesting it made Lotus cars from the same era appear reliable and well put together! :thumbsup

Anyone know what road he used for the test drive?

Thanks Mark (I think :damnfunny )

My review was done on Crow Road north of Dom's house.

There was a mild misfire on the car which gradually got worse and was since diagnosed as a coil pack on its way out. She's pulling like a train now!

I watched the 993gt3 video last night - he was certainly pressing on with the flybys :thumbsup

Oh and btw my dad is thinking about trading up with his ride on grass mower if you fancy doing the same?

Ah, didn't realise he was so far west!

The 993 GT3 looked terrible over the bumps, bobbing all over the place!

Upgrading the mower is tempting, what model is it? :cheers

The 996 GT3 was A93 near Glenshee I think, and yes, the suspension was not suited to road use at all.

Mower is a yellow McCulloch - model I've no idea but can certainly ask if you'd like more deets?

Then again that road is not the best of surfaces, did it as part of our Scotland tour a couple of years ago in 211's and was the worst bit of the 1250 mile trip.... (Unless they have resurfaced it recently?)
If you need to go even faster, just imagine you are me.

Southside must have been resurfaced since then, smooth rollercoaster now. :)

After watching his other videos this week I'm very tempted to drag the Elise out the garage and head to Glenshee......

Exactly what I was thinking.

Relatively dry today so took the opportunity to get out in the Cerb for the first time in weeks - did the length of Dundee Kingsway then a wee jaunt into into Broughty Ferry and did some sibling present deliveries.

All within the rules, but not really exciting

Planning a “county boundary lap” with Eilidh’s help. Should assist with her geography prelim revision too
