Scott

Absolutely delighted for you. Extremely exciting times!

“The LAST EVER one in that colour in Scotland” has a certain ring to it. Tell Laura

I get your point about 8 month wait, another Lotus-less summer. But here’s a wee positive reframe for you. AT LEAST you have this summer to lay plans for all the mega trips you will do in 2022. 2021 will not be a great year for getaways in any case.

So rather than reading Classifieds, look through our Meets, Track Days and Motorsport forums instead. Marvel at the jolly japes of Frolics, Oulton-Anglesey double headers, Stelvios, and Campaganzas. Etc.

Lay down a few “must-do” trips for next year and get the road atlas out

Also. November can be a better late-autumn sunshine month than we give it credit for. So plan your “running-in tour” of Scotland. Put a glamping site or socially distanced hotel at the far end, share the date in “Meets” and maybe a few old friends will come out to play to welcome your new arrival

Congrats and enjoy.

Lots of exciting stuff :D
Bravo that man! Great news and so chuffed for you, and I'd imagine the last of the final edition has to be a future collectors car!

Re the missing out on 2021 as Campbell says things will still be limited so look to 2022/23/etc, many more fun years to do what you've been yearning for 8)

What colour are you going for, or do you not have to decide such details as yet?

In other news, I bought a car today too, still not a lotus, and quite a fair bit older than your purchase :damnfunny

:cheers

Congratulations Scott!

After all the twist and turns I'm so glad you've managed to get a slot for the cup, it'll be epic :)

Need to get my finger out now and get one for the summer!

Scott - like others, I too am delighted for you. You have been so patient over these years, always adding positively to the conversations on here, that I think after such a wait this deserves its own thread! Perhaps once it arrives. Well done - great news!
