Phil Popham has stepped down from his position as Lotus boss and will be replaced by Matt Windle, formerly the firm’s Executive Director, Engineering
Lots of changes at Hethel

I hope this doesn’t result in any delays in the new models just announced to appear this year for sale in 2022!

I guess that it’s reassuring that he’s been about for a while but there is that fear that a sudden high level appointment changes the direction of the bus,or it gets parked up while he checks the map......

I don’t think this was sudden. Just a hunch

Lots of Lotus Engineering DNA in Matt (that’s the part of the business that generally made money). Future’s bright.

Either way it doesn't look great when the CEO departs when the new product strategy is announced. You could read a lot into that.

I think I fall into this category rather than Campbell's unfailing optimism.

Corporates often appoint turnaround specialists. Once the business is stabilised they are bored and move on. The smart ones have set up their successor and the business continues to thrive.

Let’s see shall we. No harm in us all taking a +ve View?
