… & no doubt very expensive but good to see such high profile names getting involved.

600bhp from the engine wasn't an issue, Lotus could have done that. It's the gearbox that wouldn't handle that power so as long as they aren't using the same box the engine should be fine.

Indeed they are not. As I read it

8 spd DCT or some other manual for the entry level one.

Sorry, but to me it just looks like all the other vanity projects of late that will never be road legal.
EG the recreation James Bond cars, recreation DB4 Zagato, recreation Blower Bentley
However, they will no doubt be sold for a lot of money as there seems to be a market for expensive fakes (IMHO).
Now with half an engine
