Lotus, late service and warranty

Looking at a private purchase Exige just now it’s got a years warranty left on it (a must in a private sale for me). Had run in service on time had 1st service on time but the second was 5/6months late due to covid. Given how badly my previous warranty claim went I’m somewhat concerned that this could be used to deny any claim. Car all checks out ok, and a sensible price. I’d buy it in a second if I could find some clarity on Lotus policy for this but googlefoo fails me. Anyone got intel on this?
