Well sticking to the rules and cars I’ve driven.

My Elise
Ferrari California super car day
Fiat UNO Turbo
Mazda NC MX5
Mini R53
Mini Cooper 1000cc
Ford Orion Ghia injection
MG Metro
VW Beetle 1303S
marlin roadster kit car by dad

Excluded by the rules, lotus excel, lotus Elan, Ford Focus, mini R56, and others.
Driven a DB9 and Gallardo but totally unimpressed, some of above fulfilled exactly what was on the tin, such as Beetle and Austin Mini.

And in my list rose tinted specs prob play a big part . Haven’t driven enough modern cars as I tend to keep even daily’s 5 yrs and I have zero interest in modern German brands, makes me a minority I know.

It was basically an XR3i with a boot. Business mans model of hot hatch. Even had the red rubber stripe around the bumpers like golf gtis back in the 80s .

Your Top 10 Cars - ever

I do remember it well. Didn’t realise they gave it the suspension to match. And the velour seats were surely no recaros! My Dad had 2 Ghias of that era - Cortina 2.0 and Escort 1.6

I still remember the ad campaign. All orchestras and stately homes if I recall?! There’s an Orion Ghia parks up near the station in Linlithgow. I now kinda realised why it’s been preserved

I've just trawled thought the list of 57 cars I've had in the last fifty years. What a pile of sh*t, I can't find enough good ones to meet the Reg's of 10 from different Marque's.

Most memorable was the BMW M635, and the best fun was a Nissan Patrol (4.0l Petrol) which got thrashed over the sand dunes every weekend for 3 years and never ever let me down.
