Spent the night in Inverness and now heading off for a NC250 loop. Probably a pie for lunch .

Edit to add I've just heard there is a serious shortage of pies in the North today, a Mr Blackford apparently has scooped the lot.

Forfar Bridies are pretty special (strictly speaking not a pie but in the zone).

Got a map of the NS250 loop ? that is a new one for me.

Ah I see, NC250 is not a NC500 shortcut its a east coast clone
