Did you get your gearshift fixed? You’re welcome to have a play with the Prodimex shifter in my S1 if you’re thinking about it - will be at various events over the next few months

What did you do with the plastic surround?

Mine sits high over the Prodimex, haven't had a chance to trawl the SELOD thread to see what others have done
'16 MINI Cooper S - Family fun hatch
'98 Lotus Elise - Fun day car
'07 Fiat Panda 100HP - Daily puddle jumper
'04 Maserati Coupe GT - Manual, v8, Italian...

Colgy - I would be very interested to take you up on that offer! Where will you be?

I’ll probably be at Paisley next weekend, but will try and get along to an LDC meet sometime too; not sure what else is on! I live near Loch Lomond, so you’re welcome to stop by for a look/chat if you’re passing - I do decent coffee!

The plastic surround sits as normal around the new mechanism, so it sounds like something is stopping it. I think you loose one of the wiring harness P clip positions (unless you use your own longer bolts), so it could just be that the loom is in the way. The plastic disc does need to be drilled out though - I used a step drill for that.
