Builder Recommendations

Post by rawsco » Fri Apr 15, 2022 9:39 pm

Looking to get a garden/sunroom built this year to extend the house, looking for builder recommendations. Anyone got someone in their contacts with a good rep?

You could try Moz & Murray?

Used them for my sash & case windows and know they do lots of extensions.

However they are likely to be really busy as been waiting a while to get some issues sorted as part of their 10yr guarantee.

Scott, my bro in law has a very reputable and established building company in Dundee.

Perhaps worth giving him a shout :thumbsup

Ross, thank you for that. I was waiting for my normal chap to get back to me since October. He is a great guy and has already done some work for me enlarging a bedroom and installing ethernet cables around the house. He also gutted and redesigned the entire downstairs for a friend , delighted with his attention to detail. But he is just so busy. He dropped me a line last month saying he would not be offended if I went else where but been trying to give him a chance but that's 6 months now. Starting to wonder if he wants the job. I put together a design spec for and got planning permission last year so I have a high level of detail for a quotation. If you are happy to put me in contact with you kin please PM the details. Totally understand if he is busy :thumbsup Just a heads up that I am changing the front of the house and really keen to ensure it looks the same as the rest of the house as a priority.
