Has anyone got test drives booked at Hamilton next month? My brother was booked in for 13th December but just been cancelled and they can’t do anything now until January. Im sure they were advertising availability on Facebook last week……

I got the email from Lotus cars a while back and noticed that they had launched a loads more dates all the way up to March I think.

I have not booked mine as:
1) They were not offering weekend slots
2) I have an i4 slot so although the V6 would be interesting I held off to let anyone with a V6 order in first

The issue they have is they only have once car which goes between showroom and test drives. They've only booked in people that have deposited I believe and that queue leads on till March.

He paid a deposit in June 2021 & was looking for a i4. The original date of now -ish was pushed to early 23 then late 23, with rumours of maybe 2024.
The V6 test drive next month was going to be the decider on if it was worth waiting, I think the cancellation of the test drive might be the final straw, he was booked in for early on Tuesday 13th Dec and took time off work to travel up to Hamilton for it so not happy with the cancellation.

The AMG one will be awesome but its delayed, and for once I think some of the blame is with Merc.

I wouldn't cancel the order but I'd make sure I had something else to drive in the interim.

On the plus side, they should have all the other issues sorted by the time the AMG ones arrive.

I was in today ,no test drives to Jan and eighteen months on a build slot.

Nice to see the area full of new Lotus rather than recent times when typically it’s been 1 or 2 outside and same inside.

They’re buying up stock . Variety of colours too…
