Car looks great and hope your enjoy the Emira. After listening to JayEmms review it sounds epic and looks like it will handle like a Lotus should.

I have just cancelled my i4 order today due to the ongoing delays and the price hike was the nail in the coffin.

Don't want to thread hijack but agree with everyone on the call centre model and came away feeling even more worthless as an ex customer. This customer care model will seriously kill their reputation further. Such a pity as they could have completely turned around people perception of Lotus if they did the comms/customer care things well.

I see JayEmm has reviewed a local Emira on the A90 to Glamis road.

Nice to see that stretch being used as a road I've driven probably thousands of times, also interesting to see what you can do with footage of about 5 miles of road :)

Finally got my car PPFed and ceramic coated last week. Ronnie at Autobath Detailing did a fantastic job. Swapped the yellow badges for black too.

Now the running in fun starts. Trip out to East Lothian yesterday. Bonus points for anyone who can name the connection between the photo below and bent spoons (yes, really) :)

The car is fantastic to drive :D The famed Lotus steering and handling brilliance is definitely present and correct. Anyone who thinks Lotus has gone all soft with the Emira needs to try one on Sports suspension. It is a pretty hardcore set up - almost feels like a big Exige.

Just in case anyone thinks I'm going mad with my bent spoons reference above, the island in the background off North Berwick is called The Lamb, uninhabited except by seals and seabirds. Bizarrely it is owned by Uri Gellar, who seems to think it is the source of some special psychic forces. Weird :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Pilgrimage down to Duns this week in the spring sunshine. Car was superb on the twisty Borders roads.

Smashing.

Shame about the sh*t Merc that crept into shot

Reminds me I’ve never yet visited Duns

Now noted as a day out in the Easter hols

Some pictures from my trip up to the north west the last few days. Perfect weather, epic scenery, and the Emira was superb over 800 miles in 3 days. Comfortable and relaxing when you need it to be, but still an absolute riot on some of the deserted twisty roads up that way.
