Side skirts oooo matron

Post by rawsco » Sat Feb 18, 2023 2:36 am

I’ve acquired a set of alias 23 skirts, these require sill drilling to fit. Should I get Craig to do it (80miles 1way) or drill through my oil/coolant lines myself? I’m handy with DIY but not competent with cars

If you see Craig mention the Blue dusty S1 in the corner and ask when the F**k he is going to start it. It's only been 18 months.

Craig fitted mine.
As well as a drill you also need a decent rivet nut tool.
The pre-drilled holes in the Alias skirts also don't go close enough to the ends and they will flap.
You either need to drill some extra holes or use some double sided VHB tape to secure.

I did mine myself, but if in doubt take to Craigs. He will like me sending business his way. :D

I also bought a Rivnut tool and fitted extra ones at the front and rear of the skirt. I also used double sided sticky tape too. Easy enough job to do, but just take care with the Pilot hole and drill slowly with not much pressure. I had to Jack my car up to enable to get the battery drill in position.

Car looks much better with the side skirts on.

Nice

The No Step sign needs to be bigger. And you should ask your new pals at Lossie for some “Beware jet blast” decals for the exhaust area

Looking Steve. You are looking after that wee rocket very well.
