Body shop recommendations

I’m struggling to find a body shop that is happy to do fibreglass, found protek through search on here and I’ve yet to call them.
Getting quotes over 5k which seems excessive since I have done all the fitment and panel prep already.

Protek is where Craig sends all the cars for paintwork etc IIRC.

The places I found when looking were Armits Autos in Broxburn. They quoted £5300 for a full re-spray/ colour change and that was me just dropping the car off with none of the prep work that you've done. Also had a chat with Craig at Classic Restorations (Perth) but he was fully booked (2 years) and wasn't taking anymore. Craig suggested I try Billy Hutton (Kirkintilloch) (0141 776 2344), I had a quick chat and he thought £3000 -£6000.
I ended up buying a different car so haven't used any of them yet so can't comment on how good they are sorry.

Thanks for the recommendations, will check those out.
Resounding thumbs up for Protek is a good sign. I’m still offshore so I’ve messaged them but no response, don’t blame them tbf id rather call and chat about it

Haven't used for fibreglass, but have been great for steel cars for us.
There's a body shop on south Street always has lambos and other interesting cars outside, no idea of the name. About halfway between Luxe and BAE.

Agnmorscoachworks.co.uk. is the body shop on south street. Painted my dads kit car 25 years ago, a combo of aluminium and fibreglass panels. Did an excellent job. I know it was 25 yrs ago but the fact that they are still trading is a good sign .

J Mullen specialist coach works did a good job on a few massive chips on mine, and the guy there said he’d done plenty of Elises in the past. They had nice work on display on land rovers they were restoring there too. They’re in port seton.
