Can anyone suggest some decent roads in East Lothian please? Just looking for somewhere for a Sunday morning drive really. Not an all day epic, an hour or so would be fine.

Head from Haddington to Duns and then loop towards Earlston - that whole road is pretty empty and lots of detours depending on your destination. From there a68 to Stowe (could head to Selkirk and then across via St Mary’s loch to Moffat) but if not hang a left at just before the end of Lauder , to Stowe. A cracking little track but watch out for sheep. And then A7 north 👍🏻

So so many great roads in the borders. East Lothian not as good as NB way full of f***ing tourists doing 35moh.

At Mary’s Loch is a good shout and I took it in as part of our route home when I picked up my yellow Exige from the factory in 2015.
