Looking at the possibilities of a sub 10k Elise and the rest (7k) on a proper load lugger like a Scooby legacy for the winter commute!

Ideally i would buy Paul's from him as having been in it, it was awesome! but something at the 160bhp + which wouldnt be dull on track!

Dave

P.S Ed no showing her in work tomorrow, as I still have some work to do on her, this way instead of splurging all the money on an 18k Nissan 350z, we could have a fun car and a load lugger commuter!

Erm, I would want to know how he had the engine modded and by who... Age, milage since, power delivery (Is there any low down torque or is it a rev monster?) Liner heights, gasket problems, etc, etc.

Also why spend all the cash on engine and not do suspention? What about tyres, ball joints, bushes, driveshafts, track rod ends, etc? Seems a bit odd not to mention that? If it's on Konis it must be a real bone shaker!

If you do look at it (Or any others!) one chack is the driveshaft oil seals, the inner tripode joint case (Big round bit on the gearbox end with a gaiter over it) should be dry, if it's oily then the seal has gone on the gear box. Not a difficult job but a PITA!

Over priced too for an R reg unless the work is all top quality and verified. Mine is a 50k R and I paid 10k for it a 18 months ago (With 35k) at a dealer.

A Trade buyer told me the following

There is a Norfolk Yellow (2000) S1 with hardtop and 40K on the clock. This is going through the ring at BCA in Edinburgh today
The trade say that it may make £7k?

Phone the auction?
