I've been experiencing pain in my right knee on and off for quite a while now. It seems to come and go and is only really sore when I walk upstairs.
The only other time it's painful is when I get out of the Elise. I can feel my right knee twist as I pull myself out of the car and just dawned on me today that this may be he cause of the pain!
Anyone else get this? Must be my exit technique

will need to work on a new one!

I get it occaisionally, but had put it down to 20 years of abuse playing rugby. Coincidentally it did start getting worse after buying the elise?
Tom - I may also try putting the seat back before getting out!

yeah give it a go. Although the S2 is easier to get out of than the S1 I think it'll help. I knackered my right knee skiing and getting out of the car without putting the seat back meant twisting around a fair bit. ouch

so seat back it is....pain in the arse (or knee

) but you get used to it.

resting ur right knee against the sill when driving (rather than keeping it straight) is another known problem.

my knees crack sometimes, I take omega 3 tablets month on/month off. When I'm taking them the pain and cracking stops.

I can't get out without putting the seat back! Was told to do this when I bought the car as it would make it easier.
Sometimes twist my back a wee bit when getting out, but knees generally okay. I think I do rest my right knee on the sill when driving, so maybe I should stop doing that!

Do what I do, leave the door closed and just vault over it.
