Just got my internet back up and running. My router decided to melt (really did!) so havent had internet for the last week which has been awful, you dont think youd miss it so much. Anyway havent got far with the engine, been mostly preparing. Its the little things like fine metric bolts for the engine block you forget and are a complete pain to get. Thanks for the pics Uldis but Id already cut the hole, and as you said it was much easier to do than dropping the tank. Still got probs with the wiring and driveshafts but other than that its coming on fine.

My engine shortly after it arrived.

Heres the new fuel pump from Gaz, capable of 400bhp.

Same as Uldis only I cut an oval.

Used a Monodex cutter so it gave me quite a good finnish. Incidentally the pumps a doddle to fit as the connecters are push fit and Gaz's unit is a direct replacment, even has the sender unit. Cheers Craig.

Is it my impression? or the initial hole in your car (notice that I resisted saying "your hole") was further to the right than mine?

In that case the shape you gave it was very nice!

Craig,

a) is that a hostess trolley in the background...if so, why?!

b) there is a boy racer mdf parcel shelf behind you as well...not from the Elise surely!

Oh and c) nice engine ;-)
