A guy at work gave me Auto Express mag which has an article on buying S1's - a mag clearly aiming at people with class (who are also skint). Anyways it mentions a June 98 Recall on rear suspension toe link bolt, that may loosen. I noticed one of mine was loose a while back. So I just tightened it up then thought nothing more about it. Should I be worried/doing summin??

Hmm, shouldn't work slack. Mine is later than 98, so I don't know about that recall - PM Pauline on here, she'll be able to clarify.

There are a number of recalls on the S1 and the toe link is one of thenm for the early cars anyway. check http://www.elises.co.uk/problems/recalls.html
