Finally got myself a job interveiw sorted out. It's a crappy support line for Carphone wharehouse but it pays better then the rock-and-roll. Just need to find a proper job  Don't really see a future in call centres, well I hope not anyway :(

they have a selection course which starts today at 1pm. Wish me luck...my telephone manner has been known to be *ahem* direct... :rage

The Oil and Gas industry is crying out for folk right now. And if you decide to work an offshore rota, you don't even need to move to Aberdeen...

Good luck Rich.

Of course if you are successful, I will require your personal number for tech support, as my ISP, landline etc is with TalkTalk.net.

Done, will find out in 24hrs. Didn't seem very taxing, but it is only a call centre. O2 BTW if anyone needs anything sorted

I did look at the Oil and Gas side but never found anyone who didn't want me to move to Abz. Any ideas? I'd gladly go off shore but don't want to move!

Thanks for the support!

Rich, how's Chester for a commute? an hour or so?
Have you ever tried Airbus? I thought that would be down your street?

try this Airbus - not sure what you do but a Fluid dynamics tool team leader sounds interesting 8)
