Thanks mate,
i'll maybe try and come over next week if you're around then Mac.
i guess the S2 is not completely different to the S1 with regards to location/ fit of the bar etc

Different bar and speaker surrounds though. IIRC you have to chop the S2 about a bit. The S1 is easy if you remove the speaker covers, hence why one of mine is "modified" with a big dent and scrape...

S1 and Willans harnesses here (Fife). Pretty easy to fit. Only thing I would caution against is if you are a skinny buggar you may run out of adjustment on the waist straps. I am fine most of the time but in the summer when driving in t-shirt and jeans I have very little adjustment left. If you are a 36" waist or over you shouldn't have any problems at all.
The other thing is they are next to useless if you ever intend to have any kids as passengers.
I took my 3 point belts out as I have no idea where you would stick harnesses if you decided to wear the 3 pointers instead. Good compromise would be to leave the pax side as standard. It can be a hassle trying to strap in a passenger but then again depends on who it is

stewart, wouldnt mind a quick look/ try before i buy if thats ok with you?
you'll have the corbeau seat though with the 135, eh? any pics?
did i see you are in perth regularly? my g/f's parents are in bankfoot, so i'm up that way quite often.
the guy thats selling them sent me this -harness installed not sure blue belts will go with my current colour coordination!?
might be better getting a bar installed and just get a harness for the driver. though saying that, i'll get accused of making myself safer in the car than her.

You are welcome to take a look, but I don't have my elise at work that often.
Yeah, I have corbeau seats, but that shouldn't really make any difference although they do have a slot in the seat to allow for a crutch strap, but I don't have these fitted.
Blue might not be ideal with your present set up but if the money is right then why not? You could always punt them on eBay if red or black turn up. I got mine of ebay and paid about half the retail price however they were used. Harness bar was from elise parts.
Handy guide here clicky
also a usefull thread on SELOC here clicky2

That picture was taken after a trip to Dundee this morning. The roads were bone dry. I would have taken the HT off, but was leaving it in the Overgate car park so just left it on. I think it suits the HT anyway (at least for a wee whileNOOPS 160 wrote:That cars looking a bit to clean Stewartyou need to get out more
