When driveing to work this morning i was flashed by a speed camara on the other side of the road. I was driveing towords the camara and did NOT have any lines on my side. Have i been cought?

It will take your pic from the other side, but you can not be charged for it.

About two years ago set 5 off (i think everyone of them) on the way down the A68 until i spoke to a copper who said you can't ever be done even if they have calibrations on your side for heading towards them!
Frankly dangerous! Hence Spec cameras down south have no flash but they do get you!

The only reason you cant be done that way by a speed camera is that a judge was caught on camera with his mistress sitting next to him in his jaguar so he claimed it was a civil rights issue, one law for lawyers another one for the rest of us. Threfore speed cameras can only take your picture as you go away from them.

But that's only true in Scotland and I have no idea whether it has anything to do with a judge or not
You can ignore any speed camera that isn't painted orange in the direction you're travelling in - so in England they're painted orange on both sides and you can be done from both ends - in Scotland they're only painted orange on the rear side (standard gatso) and you can only be done from behind.

Another good reason for having your front numberplate fall off as you cross the border.
