Volvo 940 2.0Turbo
As some of you may have read the liz is parked up at the mo. waiting on the rear brakes being done so I have had to borrow my oldmans volvo, 1992 with 148k on the clock and 5th gear overdrive, runs like a sweety !!
Although I may be taking a trip down south next week and have chanced my arm for his other car...

You will get the usual comments ie pipe and slippers but peeps would be suprised how good they are to drive they just have this old man image.
The s type is a 3.0 V6 auto and like the x drives great especially with the sport button on

Agreed, took my old mans (car) down a greasy wet road expecting it to understeer like a dog and wallow about in the corners.
Thought the suspension was surprisingly sharp and very little body roll. Not what I expected at all. The V6 has huge torque but still revs to 7000.

And the thing that catches you out is how efforless it is to get a fair speed up, I've caught the speedo going up just as quick as the petrol gauge going down lol
