Livingston eating

Post by Sanjøy » Thu Jan 18, 2007 3:55 pm

Second last day at Sky and went out for lunch with mate for a final lunch to Massimo.

Had been to the one in Bearsden so had high expectations, both were met. Good food & service.

And I could not believe on my second last day in Livi I found a good looking bird in Livi, granted it was the Italian waitress.

Sanjoy... what was your role at Sky? I worked there as a contactor for about 4.5yrs... they finally let me out for good behaviour May 2005.

Not tried Massimo... I'll give it a bash.

Andy.

Ah... how long were you there.. Do you know Ian Mackenzie (aka Bawbag)?

I was the main Avaya engineer... 'The Avaya Man', but after 5yrs, they got Sabio in (just after I left), so they look after the call centre now.

I started with Sky back in Feb 2001 when we ripped out the BT kit and put ours in... and they made the call centres all fancy with mood lights etc. So, not 'CRM' as such... but quite involved in that. In fact, I installed the Telecoms switch at NLH and got it all linked up to Mackintosh Road.

I was based over at NLH after it opened... but was over at either Mackintosh Road or Dunfermline most days.

I tried that Massimo place today for lunch... was OK, but my Calzone was cold. Was warm at the edges, but they had put a cold salsa over the top... which cooled evrything else down.

Bruschetta wasn't that great either...

I'll stick to Pizza Express in McArthur Glen I think.
