Absolutely realistic.

T-Bag gets his hand chopped off with an axe so that they can get a briefcase off him that is hancuffed to his wrist, then after escaping, is next seen at a Veterinarian Surgeons, where he forces him to sew his hand back on, which he had somehow managed to carry around with him in a tupperware box packed with ice, that had not melted over several weeks, all this without anaesthetics, and then administers a lethal injection to the Vet, WITH THE EFFING HAND THAT HAS JUST BEEN SOWN BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you that need a fix whilst the Big Brother adverts are on, then flip over, you will never regret it.

Tut,

It's a good story ruined by a terrible direction. I saw the two hour episode when series 2 started. You could have told the entire story in about 30 minutes with a good director. They drag it out (made worse by being dragged out with adverts, obviously) with pregnant pauses that would put an elephant to shame. It's a shame because it makes the actors look bad, and they probably aren't - looks like they forgot their lines half the time. Sorry, but no cigar. Oh and as for realism, I suspect that if you severed your hand at the wrist with an axe and then walked about for half a day with the wrist tied up in nothing but a rag, you would bleed to death in about 10 minutes :-)

Now a weird US show that did catch my eye on Wednesday was a thing called the lost room or similar. It's a bit twin peaks for those that remember it, though not quite as loony. It is quite well made and is a novel idea to boot.

Cheers,
Robin

I downloaded the first two series of BG from the Net, I do not have Sky, and as you say, it is excellent viewing.
