Yes indeedy! The infamous Neilp.
We met up at 7.30 after me getting lost!

I saw Mags and his Owl and met his Falcon. Absolutely gorgeous.....the birds of prey were pretty cool too!

Then we went off to a fabulous new golf course for a spot of lamping. Didn't see much at all. Then headed of to another couple of fields and got a couple. I was using the semi-automatic 12 bore!

(awesome piece of kit) and neil had the 2.2 rifle. He even taught me how to eject a round and catch it with the same hand!
At one point we were quite close to a road and Neil joked about us getting reported to the Police! Of course Neil being the exemplary citizen that he his had already told them what we were up too...

Then we head off to another field where Neil showed off his skills of handbrake parking...Dom you would have been impressed!

Then headed off to the bottom of a field, walked for bloody ages so we could sweep the field back to towards the car. Then Neils phone goes! Whos that i ask?! Its the Police!

EEk! Thought we were in trouble but no a Roe Deer had been struck by a car and was laying injured at the side of the road.
So we headed back to the car to find this deer. Not only did we find the deer but we also found 2 squad cars and 3 policeman!

with the injured deer. Dispatch had told one of the officers to put it in the back of his car and take it to a vet and he had told them to "GF"

Vets dont come out to stuff like that so neil had to finish it off! Made me laugh that the policemen didnt even want to hold the torch while neil did the deed. So into the back of the van it goes and we head off to find somewhere suitable to gut the thing. Believe me the smell aint pleasant but was fasinating watching the man at work and the job was done in no time at all. The guys got everything in the back of that van, including guns, a spade, a knife and even some water and towels for cleaning up afterwards. DDtb beware!

He kept the heart and the liver for his ferrets, man hes got some strange pets!
Then headed back to the house and hung it up and headed home.
Had a great time and much appreciated! cheers Ed
