£"!"$%*!"

Post by dr al » Fri Feb 02, 2007 12:25 pm

Some bugger's been using the front of my car as a parking sensor!!!

really pissed off!

i needed to do a repair on a bit of the front anyway, but now it's definately a clam off job. - quite a biggie. I'm pretty sure it's repairable, so i'll give it a shot. nothing really to loose i guess!!

i've been searching seloc archives for info about repairing and it should be fine, even on an S2, so i'll post about how it goes.

people really are ignorant pilloks arn't they!

unfortunately this is definately more than a scuff, but hey - it'll be a good introduction to DIY clam repair!!

anyone else got damage to repair?? - instead of "spanners and sponges" or whatever you call it we could have "polymers and hardeners" - no need for beer cos we'd all be high on fumes!

Yup I'll be there....got another hole in the damn thing this week.

How come I drive crappy cars for 17 years without a scratch then as soon as I buy the lotus...

2 new clams and 1 sill in 10 months (not including the breakdowns etc)

By this time next year there won't be much of the original car left

Still worth it tho

How would you tell?

I suppose the crumpled remains of whatever hit you lying nearby might give it away...
