I managed to perforate my ear drum on Tuesday. Absolute agony! Anybody else done it? How long does it take to get the hearing back to normal?

I have had a couple of perforated ear drums, its fcuking agony.

Last time I was in severe pain for two days during which I barely slept at all. I had to go to hospital and get some super strength painkillers that knocked me out for a couple of hours. I think it took another 4 or 5 days after that before the pain subsided to some bearable without painkillers. Probably about a week before hearing returned to normalish.

Enjoy :D
