Peepeeping - good or bad?

Post by hendeg » Sun Feb 04, 2007 10:23 am

My first thought when I saw an article in the local paper on http://www.peeppeep.co.uk was of the small group of SEers who were reported to the police by a couple of dotty old biddies at the end of last year.

This is a website that "names and shames poor drivers and bad-mannered motorists".

Don't get me wrong, I am completely behind eradicating moronic driving. Even simple things like driving in the right-hand lane of a dual carriageway because I'm turning right 2 miles ahead. I just think that there are a huge number of incompetent, blinkered drivers that have no idea of what's going on around them. These are the kind of people that could judge your driving and name and shame you.

BTW - I did have a look at the site and I don't think it will have any affect whatsoever - good or bad.

had a look on the forums there...

just people moaning about individual pot holes in the road and layout of retail carparks in one section.

surely the effort could be aimed at phoning up the local roads dept?
