one of our contractors sent me this asking if it was a lotus owner...
He timed it great as I only just sent a cheque away this morning to pay for a speeding fine!

Wouldn't want to get caught at that though...that'd require an even better excuse.

On a serious note - ectopic pregnancy - suffered by a friend

from Uni couple of years ago.....two fixed cameras and a patrol car that i left for dead

in Glasgow city...refused to stop.......got traced to Hospital.....cops came in like the sweeney.....I was standing with young lady who was on trolley screaming in pain and was duly dragged off by force...answer to charge ....altruistic necessity

haha - look that one up
result.......Fiscals letter stating no proceedings but
contact ambulance services blah blah
Anyway....fast is not big or clever

S1 Going to sleep for a long long timezzzzzzzzzz

During the London bombings a mate was at a meeting in uniform as it happened. she was "commandeered" by the emergency services as a driver along with another army type and given a landy complete with medevac case in the back and told to "just get to the fecking hospital now!" 7 speeding tickets in 2 mins, fastest anything has ever moved in greater London! Guy survived ok, but not sure her nerves did, the bloke driving was a loony (Probably related to Dom in some way from what I heard!)

G8 summit 2005 was a fun point for me. 60mph+ thru speed camera in 30 zone, + red lights. US special agents with me were sh1tting it a bit, but with 6 police outriders, all was good. 50 mins from Gleneagles to Prestwick Airport, through Friday afternoon rush hour

... it's amazing what can be 'sorted' speeding ticket wise when they want to.

I calculate that to be an average speed of just under 100 mph for the journey

Now that is what I call speeding

Blimmmey

Might have been a little longer!

Never really slowed very much, and we were motoring for almost the entire journey, so average speed would have been pretty high... poss nearer 80 average at a guess.
