what a great start to the day.......
some wee fanny has tried to rip off the Lotus badge from the front of my car leaving it bent in half but still attached and leaving quite a few scratches were they have used a screwdriver or whatever!!!!
I have kind off bent it back in place but it's knackered and the metal surround thingy round the badge is broken in a few places
so much for thinking it was safe(ish) being parked in my residents parking

CCTV and sniper rifles! That's the answer to these wee barstewards!
Hope it doesn't cost too much to fix David.

Man this kind of thing makes me really mad!
Sorry to hear about it dude!
If anyone ever did this to my car, I hope I wouldn't catch them in the act as I'd end up in jail!
I have no tolerance at all for this kind vandalism!

and now the scrotes will be "detered" with a £40 fine for antisocial behaviour like vandalism. So ripping the badge off the front of a car is only 66% as bad as being 5 minutes late back to a pay and display.

Pop a fresh one on but leave it hooked up to the live feed from the battery for a couple of days, that'll sort 'em

Dave - not the sort of thing you expect in Stocky-B

Sorry to hear about it mate.
You could always give Graeme at MMC a call, you never know, he might give you a freebie badge out of goodwill
Are the scratches right through the paintwork? You might get rid if you used summit like Autoglym Super Resin Polish - an aggressive 'polishing' product that fills imperfections.
Don't let the barstewards get you down

Cheers guys, having had a better look at it last night I am actually amazed at the lack of damage to the car itself.
The wee sh*t has actually taken a bit of care when trying to get it off

as there is very little damage to the paintwork, just a couple of tiny scratches that will polish out easily.
I have bent the badge back in place as good as I can and from a few feet away it looks fine, to be honest I will probably just leave as is for now, I don't want to tempt fate by putting a new one on

Or you could de-badge it altogether

Even get a neat wee transfer style one made up instead, like Porsche did for the GT3 RS !

I think we should all agree that if any of us ever catch one of the little barsteward in the act we will capture them and keep them locked up until everyone of us has had a chance to come round and give them a good kicking ......
*disclaimer.... I do not condone kidnapping ... honest officer !!

Another suggestion I have is to REALLY make the punishment fit the crime....
for example, if someone keys your car (as happened to a colleagues Jag 2 days ago), then when they are caught, the person who had their car key'd should be allowed to drag a sharp implement right across the barsteward face leaving a nice deep scar.
This human rights nonsense really gets on my tits. There's no such thing as a human right if you ask me. We made up these so called rights and it's about time they were taken away from scumbos.
Anyone got a soap-box they can lend me.... I've worn mine out!
