Anyone got a pic/link to these wheels? I wonder how they will look on an orange elise.
TIA

D,
Yours are the v light drop-forged alloys from the Sport Racer - they're far more desirable IMHO

Also an option on exiges tho....

I'll swap you my black Exige wheels for your silver ones if you like

But the exige version has wider fronts to fit 48's.
With an eye on the track, I'm thinking about 48's (as the car already has the exige suspension). The wider drop forged wheels are big money, as are the 240R wheels, or at least far more than I want to pay for the value/use I will get from them. Odd I know for such rational thought to apply when considering car bits)
I can get ordinary exige wheels at a more sensible price, and also these black chrome ones too. I think I'll see if I can get a pic before I decide.

Ah...just noticed you can get the forged alloys in 2 different sizes, I take it you have the narrower 6j fronts? I was under the impression they only came in the 6.5j exige size.
IMO black wheels on an orange car is a no-brainer, I think it looks odd with silver ones. Best just get a set of second hand Exige wheels if you can find any.

Agree Steve - the contrast with the bright colours is much better than silver.

you might be able to pick up a couple of wider forged front rims from the States? They seem to go on ebay for far less than they cost here - only hassle may be shipping.

There's no point in just buying wider fronts though cos then you're stuck with 48s on all the time, which isn't what D wants. Exige wheels would be the ideal option I guess though there are also some Team Dynamics ones mentioned on seloc that you might be able to get cheaper.

Normal Exige wheels are wider at the front anyway though?

Yeah but if he bought just another set of fronts, he'd only have 1.5 sets of wheels

Some people may tell you 3 wheels are plenty but I usually don't go out without 4.
