ROBIN FOR KNIGHTHOOD

Robin has spent 2 full nights this week showing me how to fit my new Larini toy 8).

Working late into the night, he has taught me lots of basics and a few tricks. Most impressive were his angle grinding skills which you can see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jh6S4LePzo

What a legend. Cannot thank him enough :cheers . He let me borrow tools, a garage and his valuable time and knowledge and managed to remain happy despite my daft questions.

I think SE should speak to the Queen about a Knighthood for him this year.

Thanks again Robin    . Massive favour owed :thumbsup .

I almost called that favour in yesterday when I picked up a metal handled saucepan that had been in the AGA for an hour :-)

Luckily the sink was full of water and I kept my hand in cold water for a good five minutes then got a freezer pack out of the freezer on it for the rest of lunch. It was still agony - however, I discovered that the freezer pack was making it worse in the end so I took some "horse tablets" (some american pills we imported ;-)) and went to fall asleep watching the rugby - woke up and was right as rain - even managed some table tennis :-)

Glad you like the exhaust - any new rattles?

Cheers,
Robin

Yeah get in line there is a queue for repaying favours to Robin!!

I'm glad that calling off my own Elise's open heart surgery enabled some other Angle Gringing Antics instead ;-)

:chainsaw <<< Meant to be an Angle Grinder but Chainsaw was the nearest I could get!

Robin...hope that hand is OK for our re-scheduled surgery this week! And obviously, seriously, if not then just let me know and I will keep UJI on the life support machine for a bit longer :-)

Hand is fine - was shocked at the time - both at quite how painful it was and how stupid I had been to pick the thing up ... mind you it runs in the family ... when I was little the deep fat fryer caught fire - my mum tried to put it out, failed, then picked it up (yes, she picked up a burning pan of fat!!) and chucked it out the back door - kitchen badly damaged anyway. Next time it caught fire, she just walked out and closed the door and let it burn

Dom - cannot do autotest this weekend - Katie is away in Naples with her pals so I am in sole charge of my children from Thursday to Monday

Funnily enough the blister on my hand from the "knob of justice" is just about healed - I wonder if I should go Jacko a la Myles next time I go ...

Cheers all,
Robin

P.S. Don't get too excited on the horse pills, they are just Paracetomol by the american name, but they are cheap (750 pills for $10) and strong.
