Complusive viewing! Good to see safety designed into the cars to protect the driver doing its job (mostly).

At around 4:40 and then again at 4:55 or so there are two really good demonstrations on why armco is better than tyre bails.

Cheers,

Remember seeing Peter Dumbreck's "spin" live during the LeMan's race - still hard to believe that he walked away.

I'm always doubtfull about seeing the american footage on these things as they don't really care if the driver survived or not. I recall watching one champ car race when the car took off (on a street circuit) and was halved by a street light. They showed the driver sliding down the circuit strapped only to his seat obviously dead!

worst one I ever had the displeasure to see was Gilles' fatal crash. Not a big fan of watching car crashes - sorry to be downbeat!

I remember being at the Spanish F1 GP and they showed this on the big screen during Saturday's proceedings. I am sure that it was Jaques first Spanish GP too
