Do you know the cost ( i have seen 2k to 4k ) and where they 2 way or 3 way these are from a motorsport s1 with wopping 550 fr and 700 rear springs

worth £1000 ?

The springs are way over the top. I have 400/500 on the Nitrons, which is as much or more than you would want.

These were on the car when I purchased it 2nd had.
Did have the invoice for the car though I cant remember how much this option was for.
Traded it a year ago though I can probably find the cost if required.
Have a word with Russell Gibbons ( 01953 608507) at the factory. I'm sure he would be able to offer some advice as to the worth of these.

Remote reservoirs. Hm.

Pile of fancy nonsense unless you are serious about car setup for trackdays, sprinting, racing etc. Which of course you may well be, right enough ;-)

what i have learned about these is
qoute from a elise motorsports comp
rebuilt there are a few race dampers to match them
far too stiff for road use and would be deadly on the road esp in the wet
these are race dampers !

spoke to some one who uses these on track/road, and for track best around , bit stiff on road but ok with weaker springs
rebuild costs £150 each

shame the bloke who was selling them has now sold them @ £900
my fault for dilling around

but says he is getting more in and i can have first dibs
they were only removed when new because the race series sponser wanted ollins fitted so had only done 160 miles

Bit more info on these
they built full race dampers with heavy 550/700 springs suited for slicks only but can be resprung and revalved by dynamics

they also built road / track versions excactly same bodys but valved and sprung to suit, dynamics have all the specs from the serial number on the body so can comfirm valving ect from this

the guy came up trumps and has just sold me a road/track version with 400fr / 550 rear springs

anybody here know how to set up two way dampers or point in the right direction i will be using road tyres / hints , book ect

value off s/h ledas with new spechical bearings 300/350 r springs
400/475 track but with helper platforms missing for track springs ?
