I have a query regarding a 04 Exige that MMC have in, I'm tempted to trade in the 111R but can't decide.
7,296 miles, Metallic Magnetic Blue 2 local owners. Full £3k Ohlins suspension upgrade with inboard adjustable dampers, full Defendall Paint Protection kit, Lotus Stage 2 sports exhaust. £24,995
Latest owner is from Glasgow, does anyone know the car and is it a fair price?? It's listed on Autotrader but can't see the registration.

Only Magnetic Blue 'Xige I know in Glasgow would be Brian J's... but I think his would be a 2005 car?

Indeed, hmm i know of one car thats had the Ohlins put on and that is Mikes?! car, R6 E** iirc. I saw him recently though at KH, not sure if is from Glasgow. HTH cheers Ed

He was intending to sell, is from Glasgow area - didn't know it had Ohlins.

I was told the owner was an eye doctor or surgeon from Glasgow....are the Ohlins worth the extra money??

Thats definitely Mikes car then.
Wonder what he has bought?!
The ohlins are only worth it if you know how to use them properly. I believe its fairly easy if you have a list of standard road/track settings. Not 100% sure they cost 3k though!

I noticed that car too yesterday when sniffing about MMC. Sassys car she is thinking of selling is std setup right ?

Not sure Mike has changed it for anything interesting I'm afraid. Think he said that with work presure he wasn't getting the use of it.
Hope that he'll find his way into another lotus soon (and with any luck the list too)
