I resigned from corporate hell today
Got a call out of the blue from my old director who left a couple of years ago. Went over for a chat he started to throw money / titles / opportunities and i was powerless to resist
Start up financial services broker (well 1.5 years old), blank canvas and pretty much a dream job for me.....looking after outbound dialler, data purchasing and all the MI...think the title is Head of Data Management or something equally wanky. Will be good to get back into a fast moving entrepreneurial based company again.
Planning on spending the next 4 weeks doing nothing but chatting up burds

What were we talking about the other day?
You should celebrate by buying an Exige

Yeah i know - so far in the past 4 weeks i've left my GF, put the house on the market and now i'm changing jobs. My old life was boring anyway
Re. the Exige comment.
1. Why would i pay extra to buy a car that's heavier and slower than mine
2. Have you SEEN the price of flats in Glasgow ?

MI, Data Management, etc. - sounds like we're in similar jobs, although I don't have a title as grand as "Head of..."

i dont care for titles TBH - especially not in Scottish Power (now old job) where being able to use excel seems to warrant an "analyst" tag.
Where you work?
EDIT : Dom there are about 2,000 (and a bit) people in my buildng. Say 60% female cos of all the call centres. VXJON will confirm the talent quota is high
