My last pair died when I ran the zip on the funky case you get with them through the wire. Although they did survive being trodden on and superglued back together. And they were quite old.
If you haven't got any, and you have a walkman or one of these new fangled ipoddy thingys then buy some. Then ditch the stereo and add lightness.... Better sound and good for your ears.
