Ridiculous eBay postal charges.

I was looking on eBay for a Sony PSP for Luke, and although most postal charges are double or more than the actual cost, this has to set a record.

I contacted him politely, his answer is below, and also reported it to eBay, as they are now asking to be informed of excessive charges.

Message: You have recently asked for excessive postage charges to be reported.

I am looking for a Sony PSP for my son, it would cost less than £5 for Royal Mail postage, yet this seller is asking £180 for delivery from Cornwall, which must set a new record.

I presume that he hopes that an inexperienced buyer would not notice before commiting himself.

I contacted him directly to point out that he was out of order, and received the following reply:-

"Well you're a right c\/nt aren't you?? DOn't you have anything better to do??"

Regards

David Duncan
