New Number Plate

I finally got my new number plate fitted!
I had it made up in Glasgow in the number plate centre.
It's not quite legal but nearly! - it's in a size they use for the square plates you get on jap import cars.
The digits are the legal minumum width, and the spacing, font and boarders are all legal, but the height is reduced to make the digits less skinny and look more normally proportioned.
on the car it looks entirely standard, you only realise how much smaller is is when you stick the old (standard size) plate beside it!
but obviously i would never drive it on the road with an illegal plate!!

Finily enough I was stopped at a census in Dundee the other week and it was Policed to bring the "lucky ones" into the little census area. When the (mundane) questions were over and while waiting to be released again I was sure the Policeman there was gonna comment about the plate but he didnt

My birthday next Friday (yes, the 13th

) and Mrs K has procured a reg for me - which will go on the Exige when it's delivered.
I've been thinking about small plates so cracking timing for this thread.
New reg is '
13 EK'.
Cheers,
Eric
